The narrative of an iconic travel piece, told through the lens of its history and the people who craft it.
The Gucci Savoy line is a nod to the beginnings of the House’s founder Guccio Gucci, who worked at London’s The Savoy hotel in his youth where he observed the international clientele and the beautiful luggage they carried. Inspired by his time there, he created his own artisanal luggage atelier in 1921 in Florence, forever intertwining the heritage of Gucci with the world of travel. The Gucci Savoy duffle is part of the House’s wider Gucci Valigeria travel collection, which combines archival emblems like the equestrian Web stripe, GG monogram, and Double G logo with exceptional craftsmanship in pieces that effortlessly bridge past and present.
