One of Gucci Voices of Self-Expression, artist and poet Cleo Wade recently created a series of artworks to highlight the efforts of CHIME FOR CHANGE—the global campaign founded by Gucci to convene, unite and strengthen initiatives for girls and women around the world.
Cleo’s simple yet poignant phrases such as, “We do not change the world when we whisper we change it when we roar,” captured a message of gender equality for International Women’s Day. Featured in ‘Women Making History: Cleo Wade’ an article by CHIME FOR CHANGE’s co-founder Beyoncé, Cleo said "I write mainly about love and the human condition, and I use my work very often to address current affairs and what's happening in our current political climate and the world we live in."
