A special project unveils the power of dance and the liberating beauty of expressing emotion through art, connecting with the innovative silhouette of the Gucci cub3d sneaker.
In an open studio space, Dance Me Out captures a rehearsal between friends Léo Walk, Hortense de Gromard, and Mamadou Bathily, dancers from La Marche Bleue dance group. Showcasing self-expression through movement, the protagonists embrace a natural fluidity that connects with the dynamic Gucci cub3d. Worn by all three, the House’s new sneaker features 3D-effect Interlocking G logos with a silhouette crafted from a mix of mesh and Gucci’s own Demetra, a soft yet durable material derived from primarily renewable sources. The style becomes the guiding thread of the dancers’ practice, highlighting that it is not so much how they move, but what moves them that becomes interesting: emotion, passion, craft. These ideas are harmoniously intertwined throughout their rehearsal, emphasizing the artistry of both the dancers and the design. Together, the two unite, reflecting a shared vision of creativity.
