The House has inaugurated its fully renovated flagship store at The Emporium Bangkok. Spanning over 4,390 square feet, the boutique offers a wide selection of pieces for both men and women, including ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, jewelry and accessories, as well as Gucci Décor.
With a look that invites customers to feel welcome and relaxed, the discreet architecture and interior design is complemented by a newly renovated exterior that conveys refinement through an optical Italian marble façade. The store sees the combination of traditional and modern, industrial and romantic, with a concept that provides the perfect backdrop to the Gucci product offering.
In occasion of its re-opening, the House will host a special installation featuring an exclusive selection of pieces from the House’s Archive. Vintage styles of the timeless Jackie and Bamboo bags, now reimagined by Gucci’s Creative Director through a contemporary lens, are featured along with a number of more recent items from the latest collections. Precious silk scarves adorned with the House’s iconic prints are displayed together with travel items from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, from suitcases and beauty cases to duffle bags.
As part of Gucci’s commitment to implement and enhance eco-friendly initiatives and energy-efficient technologies in the House’s stores worldwide, the new store is LEED-certified, uses LED lighting and is equipped with a Building Management System (BMS) to monitor and promote energy efficiency.
