Captured inside an historical Roman building by photographer Simona Flamigni, Gucci Décor’s new collection is set amongst animal sculptures and ornate interiors.
Among the pieces crafted in Italy designed by Alessandro Michele, porcelain trinket trays and boxes decorated with the House motifs, blankets with fringed borders and shell shaped armchairs inspired by 50s Hollywood. Embroidered velvet cushions are cut in the shape of animals, such as a cat’s head and an owl or bee, a handmade laundry basket is colorfully decorated in a black cat motif, and vases and umbrella stands are adorned with patterns and prints borrowed from Gucci’s ready-to-wear collections—including an original design by creative trio A Paris chez Antoinette Poisson.
