The Dapper Dan Atelier Studio

An homage to the couturier’s original boutique, unveiling the Dapper Dan Harlem atelier studio.

Offering bespoke garments custom-made by private appointment using special Gucci fabrics, prints, embroidered patches and hardware, Dapper Dan’s new studio atelier is located in a historic brownstone in Harlem. The studio’s interiors are a nod to Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s vision and the rich sartorial heritage of Harlem, with rich velvet partitions and cherry red boiserie wall panels mixed with a decorative tin ceiling and vintage furniture. The space also features archival photographs from Dap’s heyday and a selection of unique vintage furniture, where clients can discuss their ideas and options for their exclusive pieces. Once finished by the couturier, each piece is presented to the client with a certificate of authenticity.
