Contemporary and creative, genetically linked and non-related: presenting the families from Rome shot by Vogue for the fourth chapter of 25 Ways to Gucci.
In and around the landmarks of the Eternal City, contemporary families wear pieces and accessories from the Gucci Fall Winter 2018 and Cruise 2019 collections by Alessandro Michele. Dressing as a medium of self-expression are the city’s home-grown talent: twins and writer-directors Damiano and Fabio D’Innocenzo, their friend actor Andrea Carpenzano and his sister Livia who is a botanical illustrator. Adopting Rome as a home city are New Yorker Benjamin Barron, photographer and founder of print publication ‘ALL-IN’ with his partner, Norwegian designer Bror August Vestbo. Buenos Aires born artist Soledad Twombly, daughter-in-law of famed artist Cy Twombly has lived in Rome for two decades, and runs a lifestyle atelier close to the Spanish Steps. She is photographed together with her daughter Maia Twombly, a student in New York.
