To celebrate Spring and encourage those to try something new , the House will light up the sky with its emblematic colors and a touch of cherry blossom pink.
Since 2021, Gucci has lit Tokyo Tower, one of the city’s most beloved landmarks, in occasion of the cherry blossom season in Japan. For the project’s third year, Gucci will light up the tower under the theme of “Gucci Lucky Day” from sunset until midnight on March 7, "Taian,” a day of good luck, and on March 21, the season’s luckiest date when three auspicious celebrations, “Ichi-ryu-man-bai-bi,” “Tensha-bi”, and “Tiger Day” overlap. On these two days, Tokyo Tower will be illuminated with special lighting, wrapping the building in the House’s signature green and red with cherry blossom pink.
To accompany the tower lighting, the exclusive AR photo frame of artist and longtime Gucci collaborator,
Yuko Higuchi, will be featured. The artist’s illustration can be added to any photo by accessing

Two new motifs, a cherry blossom and the Tokyo Tower, will be added to Gucci’s embossing services exclusively in Japan for a limited time. Leather goods can be personalized with over 30 special symbols and alphabet characters.
