GUCCI PRIVACY POLICY TAG

In order to provide enhanced capabilities to certify product authenticity and provide exceptional after-sales client support, this product is embedded with an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tag that contains the product’s unique identification number and provides information about the product’s manufacturing and logistics history. By using RFID readers at various points in our stock control process and in selected stores, we can read information about this product, such as the production date and the store at which it was sold. Please be assured that the RFID tag does not carry, store or link to any personal data which could identify individual clients to us, and does not allow us to remotely track the location of the product following purchase.

Staff in Gucci stores are always at your disposal to offer further advice on how to care for the product correctly.

A Near-Field communication (NFC) tag is also included in this item, to allow Gucci to manage its supply chain, identify unauthorised sales, be able to confirm the authenticity of this product and provide you with information and services relating to this product. In particular, you may “tap” (i.e. scan) the NFC tag with your personal device to confirm the authenticity of your product, and access information about how to take care of this item.

If you have created a Gucci profile, information about the NFC tag may be included in such profile. Such information will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which has been provided to you at the time of creation of your profile.

When you tap the NFC tag, some of your personal information (in particular your IP address) may be processed by our partner, located in Italy, who provides us with such technology. We have required this partner to implement safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information. By tapping the NFC tag, you agree to your personal information being used in accordance with the above and our Privacy Policy.

Privacy laws may also grant you certain rights over your personal information, such as the right to access, delete, modify and rectify your data, or to restrict or object to processing, as well as the right to data portability and the right to withdraw your consent, You can also lodge a complaint with your competent regulator (where applicable). In California, you also have the right to object to any sale of your data.
