Brooklyn-based artist, Trouble Andrew is a now well-known collaborator of Alessandro Michele, after the creative director integrated his graffiti style prints into Gucci’s collections. Already a protagonist of the new gucci4rooms.com microsite, Trouble Andrew’s ghost is also a key character of his three-dimensional Gucci Ghost Room he exclusively created for Ginza Dover Street Market. It turns up as a graffiti monogram in different sizes and colors over walls, furniture and mannequins. The ghost is a symbol of the installation that becomes a visionary journey through the House’s emblems and symbols. Inside the room, mannequins and animals become sculptures, expanding in scale and generating narrative interactions, mixing art and fashion, two-dimensional and three-dimensional images, real life and fiction.
