Held at the Gucci Hub in Milan, an exhibition celebrates the pioneering work of provocative and transgressive theatre artists Leo de Berardinis and Perla Peragallo.
Curated by Gianni Manzella and Enrico Pitozzi, the show celebrates the famed duo of contemporary theatre whose movie ‘A Charlie Parker’ introduced the Spring Summer 2019 fashion show at Théâtre Le Palace in Paris. The exhibit showcases film clips, sounds, music, photographs and stage props that tell the story of the most powerful and significant years of the artistic, human and romantic partnership of Leo de Berardinis and Perla Peregallo. Also on show, frames from the 1967 film ‘La faticosa messinscena dell’Amleto di Shakespeare.’
The exhibit ‘Lo Stupore della Materia. Il Teatro di de Berardinis – Peragallo [1967/1979]’ is open until April 14, from 9:30am to 8:00pm.
