Second Summer of Love: London Acid House

Exploring a night out from the perspective of looking for the ultimate rave party, the film directed by Adam Csoka Keller is a prelude to ‘Everybody in The Place,’ a documentary on Acid House in London by Jeremy Deller—from the four-part series in partnership with Frieze.

The backdrop is the city’s rave scene of 1989. The short pre-roll follows four young characters dressed in Gucci’s current collections as they chase the party through the city’s outskirts with nothing more than a phone number and an anonymous flyer to go on. The four characters bond over the anticipation and dead ends, showing the film is about the journey and the company rather than arriving at the final destination.
