Through the lens of three artists, the stages of flow are brought to life with the Gucci Run sneaker front and center. With its ‘Don’t Run’ philosophy, the sneaker becomes an invitation to enter this highly personal, triple-step journey of meaning-making.
For Singapore-based artist Lioncolony, flow begins with inspiration. As it takes hold of him, an exciting energy springs forth and raises him up. He feels weightless and filled with joy while his soul moves skyward. This journey brings him towards his creative peak where possibility reigns free.
UK-based artist Stephy Fung brings her flow to life while it’s in full force. Motion is central to her experience, and she trusts in where it’s taking her. This trust wraps her in a warmth that ebbs and flows as she finds peace in her purpose and confidence in all that’s to come. Portraying how flow is a uniquely personal journey, she depicts this creative crescendo with imagery that pulls from her Chinese heritage.
As flow comes to an end, Swedish artist Andreas Wannerstedt is overcome with a sense of satisfaction. Though distractions slowly come back into view and reality makes itself known again, he accepts it as part of the journey. One flow cycle may be complete, but there are countless more waiting to be found.
