Gucci’s experimental concept store transcends its digital essence, finding physical form in select shops around the world for the Palace Gucci collection.
Launched in 2021, Vault was envisioned by Creative Director Alessandro Michele to be a digital space in constant evolution, breaking conventions—including its own. By going physical, for the first time Vault literally embodies its role as the perfect container to host a meeting and melding of approaches for the Palace Gucci collection.
With brightly colored and hypnotic patterns, Vault takes over the Palace Skateboards Shops in London, Los Angeles, New York, and Tokyo, as well as Gucci Stores in Bangkok, Milan, Osaka, Paris, and Tokyo. The result is an immersive experience somewhere between the real and imaginary.
Each store will showcase the Palace Gucci collection, which represents a reversal of perspective for the House. Under the experimental impetus of Vault, Alessandro Michele invited Palace to design a collection for Gucci with its own brand of wild abandon. Crafted by the House in Italy, the collection pulls inspiration from various realms, creating a wide-ranging selection of out-of-this-world creations.
