From hand-drawn doodles to color-drenched acrylics on paper and digital drawn scenes, six artists from around the world captured the new customizable pieces from the Gucci DIY collection, including Ophidia wallets and three knit styles.
Selected from Instagram, the talents depicted the pieces in eclectic scenes. London-based illustrator and designer, Surasti Puri, who imagined serene spaces including autumn trees with the Gucci knits hanging from branches; while pattern designer and illustrator, Brianda Fitz James Stuart’s artworks were inspired by the grotesque style used in Europe during the Renaissance. French painter and illustrator Marion Kadi described creating her Gucci DIY work featuring knits and wallets: “Usually the color choices are a big part of my process. This time, it was interesting to start with Gucci's items and develop a palette around them!”
