Gucci x Melet Mercantile

For Summer 2019, the House will collaborate with Melet Mercantile on a temporary three-week retail destination in Montauk, New York.

Gucci x Melet Mercantile will feature a curated selection of ready-to-wear and accessories with a focus on the Towards Summer collection, as well as a range of vintage pieces from Bob Melet’s personal collection. The temporary store will intertwine Gucci’s aesthetic with Montauk’s laid-back surf culture featuring dusty blue walls and fixtures adorned with Melet’s signature wall-mounted fish and vintage skateboards. A coveted ‘insiders’ vintage shop, the Melet Mercantile Outpost features an array of bespoke objects including art prints, vinyl records and books carefully sourced from the corners of the world by founder Bob Melet. Over the duration of its three-week opening, the space will feature local fare on the weekends. Gucci x Melet Mercantile will be open from July 3 – July 28, 11am – 6pm daily.
